This report a courtesy of Oswego County Department of Community Development, Tourism and Planning.
Oswego River:
According to Larry Muroski of Larry's Oswego Salmon Shop:
The water level has risen to 13,500cfs as of Tuesday morning. This will make many areas more difficult to fish. Driftboats are working the river water and producing some good catches. Steelhead, browns and rainbows are taking estaz egg pattern flies, egg sacs and nightcrawlers.
Lake Ontario report:
The lake fishing report has ended for the season.

The Mexico Bay area report has ended for the season.

According to Capt. Troy Creasy of High Adventure Sportfishing Charters:
All area streams remain open and dime bright fish are scattered from top to bottom. Try pink, chartreuse and blue egg sacs and work the pools from top to bottom. The fish are backing into the holes and looking for softer water. They are everywhere, so don't be afraid to move around. The Salmon River is running around 500 cfs which is good water for boats and bank anglers.
According to Douglaston Salmon Run:
We had only a few anglers yesterday. Most anglers reported multiple hookups and plenty of unpressured water to fish. Eggs, stone flies and egg patterns were the top performers. The water is staying at 500cfs for a few more days and conditions are perfect.

According to Capt. Troy Creasy of High Adventure Sportfishing Charters:
On Oneida Lake night casting for walleyes continues to be good along the shore. With changeable weather conditions anglers need to use caution. Dutchman's and Lewis Point continue to be active areas. Perch are being taken along the rockpiles with worms and minnows.

There is little activity being reported from Sandy Pond. It’s a good time to start checking your ice fishing gear but with the temperatures hovering around 40 for the next couple of days, the ice on the pond is a ways off yet.
