The mission of the Oswego County Division of Promotion and Tourism is to improve the local economy and quality of life for residents and businesses by:

• Effectively promoting Oswego County as a tourist destination, while working cooperatively with businesses and the community to attract visitors and foster growth in the tourism industry;
• Informing the public with accurate information about Oswego County, government programs and initiatives, and issues affecting the County to make residents aware of services County government provides; and
•  Advocating tourism as an economic development tool for the County.
